IMPORT OF SOFTWOOD LUMBER

CARBON MARKET distributes a wide range of planed products in Redwood & Whitewood treated autoclave from BYKO-LAT via our company JLC Wood based in Belgium. In 2019, more than 30 000m3 were sold in France. Larch, Red Cedar and Douglas are also part of our range. CARBON MARKET commercializes a range of “Vapo treated” woods which are steamed via our company SJBS belonging to our group.

Volume is available thanks to our partner BYKO-LAT based in Latvia. It is a major producer in the distribution of RedWood treated autoclave. Our strength is to be able to meet a large number of specifications. All the wood from BYKO-LAT is certified according to the FSC environmental label, the aim of which is to ensure that the production of wood complies with procedures guaranteeing sustainable forest management.

Redwood volumes are shipped directly from Latvia and we have a stock divided between our two warehouses allowing for quick shipments.

Redwood and Whitewood sold are finished products unlike Larch, Douglas and Red Cedar which are imported mainly as sawn timber and which CARBON MARKET processes through our service company SJBS.

SJBS enables us to offer glued wood (scantlings, panels…) with a high quality finish.

Since the 90’s, SJBS has elaborated and developed the steaming process, which is now perfectly mastered. SJBS is equipped with 2 steaming ovens, each with a capacity of 70 m3. And we offer finished products at your request according to different types of finishes (fine sawing, brushed). All the production is controlled internally in order to be able to offer you the product in the desired qualities that we will have defined together beforehand.

The wide range of species and softwood products offered gives CARBON MARKET great flexibility, allowing us to mix Softwoods with Hardwoods and/or Exotic Woods in all shapes and forms in the same delivery.
